Olney is a beautiful market town set on the edge
of three counties: Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
The attractive wide high street and market place is home to a fascinating
collection of architecturally varied buildings dating back many
centuries, while the tall spire of Saint Peter and Saint Paul's
Church looks over the town. The wide variety of shops, cafés, bars
and restaurants are evidence of the bustling nature of the town.
A busy market takes place every Thursday, and there is a farmer's market on the first Sunday of every month..

Shopping in Olney
Olney is a great town for shopping, but you won't find
any high street names here. Independent specialist shops surround
the Market Place and High Street, and can also be found down the
many courtyards. You will find art galleries, craft shops, antiques,
furniture, designer clothing, jewellery, gifts, antiques, even an oriental rug shop! |
